The amount will not be drawn from your card account until the goods are dispatched.

Reservation of payment

If you pay with an international payment card, the payment is reserved immediately. The payment is reserved until:

1) We withdraw the payment when the gods are shipped or
2) the money is released through a deal with your card issuer.

In Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Germany, GLS is used for interior and smaller furniture. Parcel shop, home delivery and business delivery with GLS. Danske Fragtmænd is used for all products in other countries and for all larger furniture in Denmark, Norway, Sweden and Germany. Danske Fragtmænd only to private address. Free shipping on orders over € 110 in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Germany. Shipping cost for orders under € 110 is € 8 in Denmark and € 15 in Sweden, Norway and Germany. Shipping in other countries is € 110 regardless of the order size.

Delivery time varies depending on the product category and is as follows:
Furniture including tables, chairs, benches and bed frames etc.: 4-6 weeks in Denmark, 8-10 weeks in other countries. Wood Zone calls you no later than the day before the order with Danske Fragtmænd is ready for delivery, the freighter will inform about the delivery time. For shipping within Denmark, it is possible to add flexible delivery for € 110: morning delivery or a 2-hour time frame delivery. This way, the costumer can decide the delivery time on the informed delivery date, which is then agreed on when Wood Zone inform you that the order is ready for shipping.

Interior products including lamps, mirrors, cutting boards: 1-2 weeks in Denmark, 2-3 weeks in other countries.
Care, cleaning and maintenance products: 2-3 workdays. Shipping to islands that are not connected to mainland by bridge can have longer delivery time.
Large furniture such as dining tables are delivered to curbside. Carry-up service can be added in Denmark for € 110.

Cancellation rights
As a consumer, when you buy from us, you have a 14-day cooling-off period, in which you have the right to cancel the purchase.
This cooling-off period expires 14 days after the day on which you received your goods. If you have ordered several items in the same purchase, and they are delivered separately, the period runs from the day you received the last item. If the purchase consists of several consignments or parts, the right to cancel will lapse 14 days after the day you receive the last consignment or the last part.
The period means that you have 14 days after receiving the goods to let us know that you want to cancel the purchase. You can send an e-mail to or make use of the standard cancellation form, which you will find at the end of the terms of business.
You cannot cancel the purchase by refusing to receive the goods, unless you inform us at the same time.

Cancelling part of the purchase
If you have bought more than one item from us, you may return one or several items, even if they were bought in a single order.
Please note that freight charges will not be refunded if you cancel part of your purchase.

Returning the goods
When you have informed us that you are cancelling your purchase, you have 14 days in which to return the goods to us.
You yourself must pay for returning the package, and you will be liable if it is damaged during transport.

Some goods cannot be returned by normal post. This applies to: Dining tables, plank tables, round tables, chairs, benches, bed frames etc.
The cost of returning these goods is expected to amount to maximum: € 110.

No right to cancellation
The following agreements cannot be cancelled:
Delivery of non-financial services, for which delivery has been completed, if you previously have accepted that the service shall begin, and that you thereby lose your right to cancel.
Deliveries of goods which are made to your specifications, or which are of a clearly personal nature.
Deals regarding specifik urgent repair or maintenance work at your place, which you have specifically asked for.
Agreements entered into at a public auction.

The state of the article when you return
If the value of the article is reduced, and the reason is that you have used it in any way beyond what was necessary to check the type and properties of the article and how it works, then only part of the purchase sum can be refunded to you. The amount that can be refunded depends on the saleable value of the article, and in certain cases this may mean that only the freight charges can be refunded.
We recommend that you return the article in its original packaging. If the original packaging is missing, it may reduce the value of the article.

Refund of the purchase sum
If you cancel a purchase, you will get your money back. If the value of the article is reduced, we will deduct the amount you are liable for.

We refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (which does not apply, however, to extra delivery costs if you have chosen a form of delivery other than the cheapest standard form of delivery which we offer), not later than 14 days from the day when we have received your notification that you want to cancel the agreement.

We will return the money by the same means of payment which you used for the purchase, unless otherwise agreed. We may hold back the payment until we have received the article, unless you send documentation that you have returned it.

Right to make complaints
When you trade with us as a consumer, the Danish Sale of Goods Act applies.
This means that you have a right to complain within 24 months.
Nuances and grain structure on finished furniture/products vary depending on the selected raw material. Therefore, it is expected that ordered products can be both lighter or darker than what is depicted on pictures on the webshop. Besides that, there can be more or less knots, more or less distinct grain structures. Especially smoked oak can vary in colour, depending on the amount of tannin acid in the wood, which is why lighter “stripes” or areas may sometimes occour on the finished product.
Knot can be expected on furniture made of solid wood. We fill the knots with knot glue in either black or brown nuances, depending on what is, from our side, considered the best match for the specific wood. This is done to best protect the wood and gain a more smooth surface.

Please contact us before you return the article.
If your complaint is justified, it means that you may either have the item repaired or replaced, or your money refunded, or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation.

You must complain within a “reasonable time” after you have discovered a defect. If you complain within two months after the defect has been discovered, it will always be regarded as within a reasonable time. If the complaint is justified, we will refund your freight costs (within reason). The article must always be retuned in suitable packaging. Remember also to obtain a receipt for dispatch, so that we can pay back your freight costs.

To complain about goods or services, the goods or services must have a value between 1.110 DKK and 100.000 DKK.
