Oval oak tables combine the longitudinal shape, which fits into most homes, with the elegant round shapes at the table end. This way, an oval dining table adds a geometric feel to the dining room and softens the room with its natural grace. At the same time, nature is invited inside through the authentic look of the oak.

Our selection of oval tables at Wood Zone include standard options in oaksmoked oak and walnut. As carpenters, we prioritise sustainability in our production, hence the majority of our oak furniture is FSC certified. When you have decided on an oval dining table in oak, you can choose between three types oil treatment, Oil, White oil and Cream oil.

Oak treated with the oil treatment Oil gets a warm look to it, as its un-pigmented. On the other hand, white pigment is added to the oil White oil, which gives the oak a light look. The last oil treatment, Cream oil, gives the oak the lightest look as it has the most white pigment added. This gives the wood a more cold tone and is the one that looks the most like natural untreated oak.

An oval dining table in oak with space for many guests

The rounded shape of the table adds room for extra seats at the table end, compared to a square table. Like round dining tables, the rounded corners bring a more intimate conversation around the table. The natural shape of the oval wooden dining table automatically gathers guests at the table end towards the middle, which creates a more gathered and cozy atmosphere. This is also a great benefit compared to the square table, where the distance between the ends can be rather distancing. An oval table in oak from Wood Zone thereby creates room for guests.

A flexible oval wooden table

Our oval dining tables are available in two standard sizes, 240 x 100 cm and 300 x 100 cm. However, we also know that the need for space can change depending on everyday or festive events. Because of this, we also offer up to two extension leaves for our oval oak tables. This give you the flexibility to adjust the size of the table according to the number of guests. The extension leaves are available in either the same type of wood as the table or in black MDF.
